Phyllis Marie Woodman Perry, Maine Phyllis Marie (McPhail) Woodman, 75, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 25, 2013, with her loving, devoted husband by her side. She was born in Perry, October 13, 1937, the daughter of Herbert and Bessie McPhail. She worked at the Mearl Corporation and after becoming sick became a stay at home mom. She loved going to church and worshipped at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Eastport. She took great pleasure during her last few months playing Bingo at the Bangor Nursing and Rehab Center, where the residents and staff became her second family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Garrianna, her brother, Carroll McPhail and her sister, Lucy Conley. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Paul D. Woodman. Her four children, Betty Johnson and her husband David of Perry, Paul E. Woodman and his wife Lynn of Perry, Timothy Woodman and his partner Harrison Ankers of Bangor and Lisa Small and her fiance Jeffrey DeWitt of Ellsworth. Seven grandchildren, Jenny Dean and her husband Matthew of Perry, Coty Batten and his wife Tiffany of Levant, Kenneth Woodman and his wife Christina who are stationed in Germany, Clayton Woodman of Perry, Levi Woodman and his fiance Jessica O'Neal of Calais, Kaitlyn Small of Portland, Alexandra Small of Ellsworth and a special great-granddaughter Jenna Dean of Perry; a sister Elizabeth Boutin and husband Ward of MN ; a brother Joseph McPhail and wife Marie of Perry, and a special sister-in-law Sarah “Sally” McPhail of Perry; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private graveside service is being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Bangor Nursing and Rehab, Activities Department, 103 Texas Ave, Bangor, Maine 04401.
