Sanford Eldridge Kelley III Jonesport Sanford Eldridge Kelley III, 59, passed away Friday, May 1st 2020 . Known as "Buzzy" by those who knew and loved him, he was born August 2, 1960 in Meriden, Connecticut. He was the second of four siblings. In 1987 he was married to Barbara Skidd who survives him. He attended Porter & Chester institute, earning certification as a draftsman in engineering. He holds patent US5827047A assigned to UTC in 1996 for a damper for a turbine blade in a gas turbine engine. In later years, he dedicated his time to operating The Kelley Family blueberry farm in Jonesport. In his own words, he was "A farmer, out standing in his field". Those who knew Buzzy will remember him as a good humored man who had a passion for all things with 4 wheels, music, and having fun. He is survived by his daughters Samantha Kelley of Wellington, New Zealand, and Julia Kelley of Plainfield, CT; siblings – Sandra Elaine Busque and husband Bradley of Simsbury, CT , Cynthia Ann Findeisen of Westerly, RI, and Michael Frederick Kelley and his wife Beth of Tolland, CT He was predeceased by his parents Sanford Eldridge Kelley Jr and Bertha Mary Kelley.
