Millinocket – Bernard P. Willette, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 with his family by his side. Barney was the son of Charles and Blanch (Lepage) Willette of Millinocket. Barney joined the Army in 1950 and stayed until 1955, when he went to work for GNP. The last 11 years he worked as a machine tender on #5 paper machine which he loved doing. He worked for GNP for 31 years until his retirement. Barney loved to tinker in his garage, and he loved to tease. He is survived by his daughters, Robin Tuunanen and husband Marc, Tammy Davis and husband David, Barbara Hebert and husband David, stepson Richard Burgess and wife Kim. Grandchildren Brian, Chad, DJ, Bradley, Angela, Rochelle, Philip, Lynn, John, and great grandchildren Logan and Makenna, and a special friend, Wayne Burke. In addition to his parents, Barney was predeceased by his wife Belle, siblings, Priscilla, Thais, Virginia, Francis, Charles Jr., Richard, and Daric, mother in law, Francis Rush, Glady and John Chambers, and a special friend, Pat Woods. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, till we meet again. We will miss you dearly Dad, you loving daughters. At Barney’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
