Juliet Hendsbee Millinocket, Maine Obituary

Juliet Hendsbee

East Millinocket – Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. Juliet Mary Hendsbee, 38, the beloved daughter of Donald M. and Barbara (Turcotte) Hendsbee, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Julie always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and with her friends at Creative Options. She liked to watch “Law & Order SVU” and “I Love Lucy”. She loved camping with her family at Hadley’s Point in Bar Harbor, where she spent many summers. She always loved her yearly movie trip with Kathy Page. Her favorite time of year was Christmas! It always stayed magical for her. Julie is survived by her parents, her niece, Samantha Hendsbee, who was more like a sister to her. Her unborn great niece, Raegan Anne, who she so looked forward to meeting at her birth. She is also survived by her paternal grandfather, Donald W. Hendsbee – “Grampie Tata”, aunts, uncles, cousins, a special cousin, Amy Pelkey, and very special friends Betty Goody and “Buddy Brooks” Boutaugh. Julie was predeceased by her brother Jeremy Hendsbee, her paternal grandmother, Gloria (Longley) Hendsbee – “Grammie Gogo”, and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Juliet Mary (Goguen) Turcotte, who she was named for. Friends are invited to visit with the family 3-7 P.M. Thursday, March 16 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, March 17 at the First Congregational Church of East Millinocket, 11 Maple Street, East Millinocket with Rev. Bruce Burnham, pastor, officiating. Spring interment will be at the East Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Julie may be sent to Creative Options, 168 Central Street, Millinocket, ME. 04462, for her friends to go to the Special Olympics, which Julie loved.
