Phillip Cram Obituary

Medway - Phillip David Cram, 63, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born in Lincoln, Maine in 1953, the son of Carl and Viola (Davis) Cram. Phillip was educated in the Medway and East Millinocket school systems and served in the United States Air Force. For a number of years he was Police Chief in the town of Medway. He is survived by his wife, Linda, mother Viola Cram, daughters Paula Pray and husband Mark, Lauri McLaughlin and fiancé Charlie Stanley, Cheryl Beliveau and wife Wendy, by grandchildren Rachel Perley, Cody and Jesse Stanley, and Melinda McLaughlin, and also four great grandchildren, Abigaile and Marcus Hutchins and Morgan and Autumn Perley. He is also survived by two brothers, Steve and wife Charlene and Robert and wife Janet. Phil’s greatest joys, besides grandchildren, were hunting and fishing in the Katahdin area and also in the Allagash region to the north. He could often be found along streams with a fishing pole in the spring or along logging roads with a shotgun in the fall. If the next life is, indeed, a field of dreams, he is, even now, enjoying rivers full of fish and woodlands thick with game. Rest easy, thou good and faithful servant. Family and friends may attend a celebration of Phillip’s life at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, May 11 at the Grindstone Road Cemetery in Medway.
