Blanche V. Landman, 100, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 9, 2013 in Union, ME after a period of failing health. She was born on April 24, 1913 in New York, New York the daughter of the late Louis and Ellen (Ward) Rauch. Growing up in Bergenfield, New Jersey she attended local schools before joining the work force. Her career was spent at Prentice Hall Publishing as a Traffic Manager, a position she held for over 20 years until retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting and spending time with her family. A devout Catholic, she was dedicated to her church and could be found helping out at the various parishes that she held membership at. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her two sons Mike Crosby and Jim Landman Sisters Dorothy Schaffner Grace Rauch Dincin Grandchildren Kristine Ladman Lewis Michael Landman 10 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Granddaughter Special Friends Frank and Eleanor Baudanza A mass of Christian Burial will be held in New Jersey. Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Home of Thomaston, Thomaston, Me
