Isaac Rhodes Obituary

Isaac Stephen Rhodes, 25 of Washington, passed away on January 23, 2017 at his home. Isaac was born on April 28, 1991 in Bangor, Maine to Steven E. and Elizabeth (Robishaw) Rhodes . Isaac was a graduate of the Class of 2011 at Medomak Valley High School. He was honored at his graduation by speaker Neil Lash. He was known for his infectious personality and his charming ways and great hugs. He loved to sing, he loved animals and especially his last dog, King who has outlived him, just barely getting around, four wheeling with his Dad, listening to music, stuffed animals, bowling trips with Mobius, participating in Special Olympics from the 3rd grade until 2012, watching movies and television, going fishing and watching birds. Isaac had been going to Mobius in Damariscotta since he graduated and seemed to enjoy it very much. Coastal Botanical Gardens started their own program through Mobius because of Isaac’s interest in the flowers and bumblebees. Isaac was the most well-natured child and young man and will be dearly missed. He is predeceased by his Aunt Jeanne Robishaw ,his father, Steven E. Rhodes died the same day. Isaac is survived by his mother Elizabeth Robishaw Rhodes of Washington, maternal grandparents, Donald and Ercell Robishaw, Sr., of Rockland, Maine paternal grandparents, Moody and Lincoln Rhodes of Washington, sisters Rachel Batlis and husband Dean Jr. of Washington, Rebekah Lord and husband Douglas of Camden, Uncle William “Bill” Rhodes and wife Carol of Washington, Keith Rhodes of Washington, Aunts Sandra Lufkin and husband Joel Sr. of Warren, Kimberly Peabody and companion David Gould of West Gardiner, Uncle Donald Robishaw, Jr. and wife Gail of Rockland, Uncle Ronald Robishaw of Rockland, nieces, nephews, many cousins and many friends and caregivers at Mobius, Inc. in Damariscotta.
