She was the daughter of Donald Tibbetts and Lillian Babcock and stepdaughter of Francis Tibbetts. On February 10, 1996 Mary married the love of her life James (Jim) McIntyre whom she spent the last 21 years of her life with. More often than not Mary could be found working in her gardens, they were her happy place. She also enjoyed making wreaths, cross stitching and coloring which she did until she was no longer able. Mary worked at local fish factory located in Rockland, Maine and she also worked for Sylvania in Waldoboro, Maine. Mary was predeceased by her parents and stepmother. She survived by her husband James (Jim) McIntyre, her two sons Donnie Tibbetts and Jerry Allen, stepdaughters Tammy McIntyre, Kisha Allen and Misty Dyer, stepsons James McIntyre Jr., Rick McIntyre and Darren Thibodeau and her grandson, Tristen. We can’t leave out her dog baby, her cat Tom and her cockatiel Pretty Boy who knew when she was awake every morning and would talk to her saying “momma’s pretty boy” over and over again. There will be a private service for close family and friends. Date and time is to be determined and family will make contact when arrangements have been made. Any flower or donations can be sent directly to the home address. Hall's of Waldoboro has care of the arrangements. To extend online condolences to the family please visit www.hallfuneralhomes.com.
