George Kephart Gaithersburg, Maryland Obituary

George Kephart

With an unequaled sadness, we regretfully announce the sudden death of our beloved friend, brother, mentor and colleague, George Thomas Kephart, Jr. who left this earth on the sunny morning of Saturday, June 27, 2020, at the age of 64 in Lewes, Delaware. George was born in Bethesda, Maryland on October 12, 1955, to George T. Kephart, Sr. and the late Mildred "Mickie" Ann Kephart (nee Matthews). George is survived by countless people near and far whose lives he touched with kindness, compassion, a goofy wit (perhaps a little crass) and deep understanding of what it is like to truly love others from his heart. Brother of Cheryl K. (Pat) Fletcher and Aaron Bilgrad; uncle of Marcus Kephart (Abigail), and great uncle of Miss Claire and Tyler. Preceded in death by his long time companion, Nick Marinaccio, His dear mother Mickie, and friends Joan Holmes and Luis Zambrano. Those who are funeral professionals please bring a hearse and help to create a special procession! Rest well, George, you deserve it! You may wish to honor George with memorial contributions to The Casey House, MontgomeryHospice.org or FoodandFriends.org
