Christopher Jon Kufera

Christopher Jon Kufera, 38, died unexpectedly in his home on December 26, 2015. He was born on July 19, 1977, in Baltimore, Maryland. Chris was a graduate of The John Carroll School in Bel Air, Maryland. He was an aspiring entrepreneur who loved his family dearly. He was a lover of all animals.

Christopher is survived by his parents, Walter Sr. and Roberta Kufera of Hagerstown, Maryland. He is also survived by his brother Walter Kufera Jr. and wife Shirley of Jarrettsville, Maryland, and his sister Jennifer (Kufera) Karn and husband David of Hagerstown, Maryland. He is survived by nieces Ashley Kufera, Elyse Kufera, and Emma Karn, and by his nephew Noah Karn.

The family will receive family and friends at Harman Funeral Home on 305 North Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, from 5-7 pm with a memorial prayer service to follow. Hospitality will be after the service at Jennifer and David’s home.

The Epilepsy Foundation- Chris’s niece and nephew live with this disorder, and he spent a great deal of time learning about epilepsy and researching ways to help Elyse and Noah.

Your local animal shelter- Chris loved animals and went out of his way to help strays.
