<p>Marcella (Marcie) Denise Rhoads, 50, of 326 Henry Avenue, Hagerstown, MD, suddenly passed away at home on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.</p><p>Born August 4, 1965, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Smith, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA and Priscilla Smith of Hagerstown, MD. </p><p>She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School, Class of 1983, and attended Hagerstown Business College. She was a member of Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Hagerstown under the direction of Pastor Leroy Jackson.</p><p>She is survived by one son, James Rhoads Jr.; one brother, Melvin Smith and his wife Adina Gittens-Smith; three nephews, Ayinde, Adisa and Ashaki Gittens-Smith, all of Laurel, MD. and a host of family and friends.</p><p>She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Alfred, Sr.and Anna Evans of Hagerstown, MD, and paternal grandparents; Marion and Dalmus Hill of Philadelphia, PA. </p><p>A Funeral Service will be held at on Monday, December 7, 2015 in Christ’s Reformed Church, 130 West Franklin Street, Hagerstown, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Leroy Jackson to preside. Viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 at church prior to service.
