Lisa Edwards McDonald, 61, of Hagerstown Md passed from this life, Sunday April 5th, 2020 at home, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 10, 1958 in Havre de Grace Md. Daughter of of the late Robert Edwards and Virginia (Brinkman) Edwards. Lisa was a 1976 graduate of Frederick High School, Frederick Md. She was a daycare provider for 28 years giving care and guidance to many a children she loved as her own. In most recent,she was employed through Saunders Tax and Accounting as a professional tax preparer. She loved her family and especially being a "Nana." Being a true Maryland girl, she was a big fan of the Orioles and Ravens. Lisa was very talented with her hands, sewing and creating projects for her business The Craft Cellar. She is survived by her soulmate and loving husband of 25 years Mark W. McDonald of Hagerstown Md; three sons, Jacob D. Olson (Rachel) of Hagerstown Md; Daniel B. Olson (Pamela) of Hagerstown Md; Jeremi W. McDonald ( Shaena) of Waynesboro Pa; one daughter Angela M. McDonald of Waynesboro Pa; 7 grandchildren; five brothers; Bobby, Glenn, David, Wayne and Kelly Edwards; one sister Charolette Mitchell. In addititon to her parents Lisa was proceeded in death by her sisters; Kimberly Combs and Melissa Oland. A celebration of Lisa's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County.
