Bryant Boddy Obituary

Bryant Jerome Boddy Sr. who was affectionately known as "Shoe Boodie" was born June 16, 1955 to the late Preston V. Boddy, Sr. and Lillie E. Boddy. He departed this world on December 30, 2011 at home after losing a courageous battle with cancer. Bryant was a lifelong resident of Harford County and received his education in the Harford County Public School system. At a very early age, Bryant started working as a sanitation engineer. He was a hard working man. He work journey included Aberdeen Proving Grounds Mess Hall, Harford County Board of Education, Douglas and Lomanson Company, John Carroll High School, and the Lorien Nursing Home. Bryant joined Word of Faith International Outreach Ministries and was baptized in May 2010 under the leadership of Bishop Melvin T. Taylor Sr. No matter where he went he made a friend. He had a laugh that was unique and unforgettable. We will miss his laughter and his ability to make people laugh. He will be especially remembered for his quick wit and straight-forwardness.
