Obituary Calvin Monroe Cephas, Sr., a resident of Cambridge, MD, departed this life on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Shore Regional Medical Center at Dorchester at the age of sixty-two (62). He was born on August 20, 1957 in Cambridge, MD, son of the late Melvin and Martha Cephas. Calvin was employed with JM Claytons for twenty-eight (28) years until he retired. Calvin, affectionately known as “Chubby,” is survived by: two sons, Calvin M. Cephas, Jr. and Tyrone L. Cephas and one daughter, Keyonda Cephas, all of Cambridge, MD; seven (7) grandchildren, Tyrone Cephas, Jr., Kimora Cephas, Autumn Mcclarin, Treasure Wilson, Aubree Woolford, Novah Wongus and Emily Cephas; four brothers, Dwight Cephas, of Cambridge, MD Gary Cephas (Karen), of Ohio, Lance Cephas (Janet), of Cambridge, MD and Eugene Lewis (Thelma), of New York; four sisters, Monica Cephas and Bevelyn Quidas (Mike), both of Cambridge, MD, Jacquelyn Abram (Lewis), of North Carolina and Evelyn Rideout (Leroy) of Delaware and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his sister Lisa Ennals and a brother Tyrone (Melvin) Cephas both of Cambridge, MD.
