Stephen Cornell Holland was born on July 5, 1951 at Cambridge Hospital in Dorchester County, Maryland to Ella Holland and the late Charles Holland. Stephen received his early education at Jonestown School in Caroline County and later attended Hurlock Elementary School #2 under the late Walter Ross. He attended Maces Lane High under Dr. Edith Jolley. Stephen was a member of the Future Farmers of America and the Glee Club. He loved music and singing and often had to be reminded to turn the volume down. Stephen was a people person, helping anyone that needed assistance. Stephen was a true community helper. Stephen Holland is survived by his loving mother, Ella Holland; a son, Patrick Holland; two grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Holland and Charles Holland, both of Hurlock, Maryland and Isaac Holland of Seaford, Delaware; two sisters, Clarise Holland and Constance Cain of Hurlock, Maryland. He had one brother-in-law, Deacon Ronnie Cain; two sisters-in-law, Betsy Holland and Josephine Holland, both of Hurlock, MD. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Charles Isaac Holland; a brother, Clifford Gregory Holland and a sister, Ella Louise Holland.
