Willie Edward King

Willie Edward King was born February 6, 1939 to the late Pauline Louise King and Lonnie Pittman. He was also nurtured by his god parents, the late Alexander and Lillie Mae Turner, who loved him dearly. He departed this earthly life on Monday, December 1, 2020 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. Willie began his Christian journey at the former Christ M. E. Church in Rehobeth, Maryland. He continued his Christian service as a faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Oaksville, Maryland, where he was a dedicated usher for many years. Willie was also a member of the Eastern Shore Ushers Association. His dedication to the ushers of the Eastern Shore will be missed. Willie was born in Smyrna, Delaware and raised in the Westover -Rehobeth, Maryland area. He attended the public schools of Somerset County, Maryland. He loved visiting family and friends, working outside, repairing bicycles, and cutting grass. Additionally, Willie loved music and dancing. He changed his love of worldly dancing to dancing for the Lord in his own way and style. He also volunteered at the Seton Center in Princess Anne, Maryland for many years. Willie leaves cherished memories with: his wife, Donna King; two children, Kevin Nixon and Yvette King (Barry Waters); three grandchildren, Ramon, Jamarr, and Laketa Waters; four great grandchildren, Autumn, Ava, Alexander and Karlis Waters; siblings, Shirley T. White, Rosemary Davis and Robert Collier (Ethel); god sister, Connie Fosque and a host of in-laws, cousins, and friends. Sorrowfully Submitted, The Family
