Elsie “Chris” Christine Daniel (nee Allen), 93, of Westminster (formerly of Dundalk, MD) died Thursday. September 7, 2017 at Constant Care in Sykesville. Christine was born August 27, 1924 in Bolt, WV, the daughter of the late Leander Harvey Allen and late Martha Louise Evans Allen. She was the wife of the late Earl Daniel for 70 years. She worked for Montgomery Ward as a catalog order processor. She loved to quilt and sew; she made and gave away hundreds of quilts, made her own clothes, and specialty things like cabbage patch dolls. Surviving are sons: Earl H. Daniel and wife Sherry of Westminster, MD, and Leslie Adrian Daniel of Largo, Florida; granddaughters: Stephanie Lynn Daniel, Heather Colleen Lane and husband Mark, Kimberly Megan Myers and husband Brad, Virginia Michele Dodds and husband Eric, and Nicole L. Daniel; grandsons: Christopher Scott Daniel and wife Beth, and Steven Patrick Daniel. Also surviving are great-granddaughters: Emily Christine Pena, and Sierra Elizabeth Lane; and great-grandsons: John Michael Pena, Daniel Datis Lane, and Henry Lincoln Daniel and Walter Hinton Daniel. She was predeceased by a sister, Esta Geraldine Swann; brother, Edward Allen; and her oldest son, Leander Allen Daniel, and daughter Linda Louise Daniel. Graveside Service and Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave. Baltimore, MD, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 12:00 NOON with Rev. Lynne Humphries-Russ officiating.
