Violet M. Hohman (nee Green), age 87, of Randallstown, MD, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Augsburg Lutheran Home in Baltimore, MD. She was born August 25, 1929 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Paul Brown Green and the late Winifred Sheridan Green. She was a Hairdresser for Augsburg Lutheran Home and Little Sisters of the Poor. She was a School crossing guard, member of American Legion Post #122 and Ladies auxiliary in Owings Mills, MD. She was the wife of the late Bernard E. Hohman, Sr. and the late Robert Sprangler. Mother of Bernard E. Hohman, Jr., John Hohman, David Hohman, Melanie Swigart, and the late Anita Beahm; Sister of Winifred Bennett, James Green and the late Grace Clark; also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 AM, Catholic Prayers to begin at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Fr. Raymond Harris of Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, MD.
