BEVERLY - Mr. Antonio “Tony” Hernandez III of Beverly, formerly of Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Beverly Hospital. He was the beloved husband of thirty one years to Randi (Larcom) Hernandez.
Born in Laredo, Texas, he was the son of Antonio Jr. and Maria Rosa (Zamarippa) Hernandez of Laredo, TX and was a graduate of Martin High School.
Tony was a career veteran in the United States Army for eighteen years prior to his retirement in 1994. He received numerous ribbons and metals for his service and was extremely proud of his military accomplishments and service to his country.
Mr. Hernandez had been employed as a Teacher at Beverly High School for many years. He also was a medical interpreter at Beverly Hospital, where he specialized in speaking Spanish and German.
In addition to his wife and parents, Tony is survived by his son, Antonio IV Hernandez and his wife Alanna of Lakewood, CO; four sisters, Claudia Hernandez, Rosita Hernandez and Norma Hernandez all of Laredo, TX and Ellie Hernandez of Los Angeles, CA; his brother, Carlos Hernandez of Laredo, TX; his in-laws, Carl and Georgette Larcom of Beverly and was the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial in the Central Cemetery, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com
