Obituary for Catherine E. Woodfin

Rowley - Catherine E. (Hill) Woodfin 59, formerly of Beverly, beloved wife of Clifford W. Woodfin, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.
Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Flahive) Hill. She earned her certificate as a registered nurse from North Shore Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Education from Endicott College in Beverly.
Mrs. Woodfin had been employed for many years as a registered nurse in the Emergency Room at Beverly Hospital. She also worked as a clinical nursing instructor at the North Shore Community College.
A resident of Beverly for several years prior to moving to Rowley in 1999, she enjoyed traveling and motor cycle riding with her husband.
In addition to her husband, with whom she shared thirty seven years of marriage, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Phillips and her husband, Patrick of Odenton, MD and Catherine Melo and her husband, Marcos of Haverhill, two sons, James Woodfin and his wife, Jessica of Danvers and David Woodfin and Kate Pydenkowski of Salem, eight grandchildren, Brandon, Lucas, Joshua, Benjamin, Andrew, Ava, Caitlin and lily, a sister, Margaret Tito of Lancaster, NH, four brothers, Joseph Hill and his wife, Alison Chase of Boxford, William Hill of CA, Jake Hill of Nashville, TN and Albert Hill and his wife, Wendi Jo of Salisbury, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Frances Laurenitis.
Funeral Services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. Burial in the Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Contributions may be made in her memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
