Obituary for Edward F Comeau

BEVERLY - Edward F. “Ted” Comeau, 80, beloved husband of Patricia (Dwyer) Comeau, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 15th. Born in Peabody, he is the son of the late Francis and Alice (Porthier) Comeau.
Ted grew up in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1954. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Scotland. After his service, Ted worked for the City of Beverly as a Foreman for over 30 years. He enjoyed making models, working on old cars and helping remodel his children’s homes. Ted most of all enjoyed his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Patricia, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage, he is survived by three sons: Edward F. Comeau, Jr. and his wife Debra of Beverly, Robert Comeau and his wife Nancy of Beverly and Kevin Comeau and his wife Deborah of Georgetown; two daughters: Deborah Duke and her husband William of Leominster and Carol Raymond and her husband John “Bill” of Beverly; two brothers: Francis Comeau of New Hamphire and Charles Comeau of Danvers; one sister: Alice Hayes of Danvers; one sister - in law Marilyn Comeau of Peabody; one brother-in-law William Dwyer Jr and his wife Patricia of Queeche Vermont; thirteen grandchildren; Billy and his wife Jaci, Meghan, Jason and his wife Alana, Ryan, Jenn, Ben, Kristen and her fiancé Mike, Eric, Chad and Kyle, one great grandchild Cody; along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Paul Comeau, sister-in-laws Nancy and Priscilla Comeau and his father and mother-in-law William and Mary Dwyer.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Monday at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will be held prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 12 Noon. Burial will be held in North Beverly Cemetery.
