Obituary for Frank R. DiPaolo

– Frank R. DiPaolo, age 82 years, husband of Olive A. (Thompson) DiPaolo for over 60 years, died on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at their home at Windham Terrace in Windham, New Hampshire. Born in Beverly, he was son of the late Liberato and Caterina (Vallone) DiPaolo.

Mr. DiPaolo was a graduate of Beverly High School, class of 1946. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked his entire professional career as a Chemical Supervisor for Morton Thiokol, the former Ventron of Beverly. He lived in Beverly most of his life, later retiring in Boynton Beach, Florida for 15 years, and lived with his wife for the past 2 years at Windham Terrace of Windham, New Hampshire. Mr. DiPaolo was an active member of the Italian Community Center and was a founding member of the Vittori Rocci Post in Beverly. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed raising and breeding greyhounds.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are his daughters, Sandra Lacombe and her husband Joseph of Winchester, and Linda Kendall and her companion Sean McGrath of Beverly; his grandchildren, Nicole DiPaolo, Stephanie DiPaolo, Katelynn Kendall, Laura Lacombe, and Andrew Lacombe. He was also father of the late Frank R. DiPaolo, Jr.; brother of the late Patsy, Leo, and William DiPaolo; and grandfather of the late Kristen Kendall.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly Location) on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours starting at 11 a.m. prior. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Beverly.
