Yulee, FL formerly of Beverly- Grady H. Amos, age 60, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, at his home in Florida.
Born in Beverly and raised in Danvers, he was the son of the late Spencer and Barbara (St. Hilaire) Amos. Mr. Amos worked as a plumber, supervisor in electronic assembly and recently as an armored truck driver.
He enjoyed fishing, classic rock, stamp collecting, motorcycles, classic cars and a good western movie. He loved his family and was a faithful friend.
Surviving him is a son, Bradford E. Amos and his wife, Yris; four sisters, Denise Duval of New Hampshire, Renee Little of Beverly, Sheryl Crowell of Virginia and Margaret Congley of Amesbury; a granddaughter, Omayris; former spouse, Barbara (Ray) Amos; a stepfather, Vincent Congley of Beverly. He was predeceased by two brothers, Randy Amos and John Congley.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly, Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Friday, November 11, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
