BEVERLY - Mr. Graham C. Dyer, 36, passed away on Saturday, May 14th at his home in Beverly. Born and raised in Jefferson, Maine, he is the son of Ann (Carnevale) Dyer of Beverly and Charles Dyer of the North Shore.
Graham was a graduate of Jefferson Village School where his favorite coaches/teachers were “Mr. D” and Duffy McQuire. He was then recruited to go to Cony High School in Augusta, Maine to play football as starting quarterback. Two of his favorite coaches/teachers at Cony were Ralph Peterson and Bob Lippert. He and his brother Ezra played on many teams together; including all-star teams, were another favorite coach was Tommy Lee of Jefferson. He then decided to do a post graduate year at Hebron Academy in Hebron Maine. Graham chose to attend Ithaca College, were he continued to play football. There are numerous teachers and coaches to thank for his excellent education. He received a B.A. in History from Ithaca College. Graham was a kind, generous, loving person with a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother: Ezra H. Dyer and his wife Heather; two nephews: Rhys and Finley Dyer all of North Carolina; along with many cousins, aunts, uncles and his great uncle Dominic Carnevale of Beverly. He is predeceased by his grandparents: Dr. Edmund and Marie Carnevale.
Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Friday from 11am to 12:30pm. A graveside service will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Brimbal Ave, Beverly. Information, directions and condolence at www.campbellfuneral.com
