Obituary for Henry W. Drost

Mr. Henry W. Drost 90, formerly of Hamilton, beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Thompson) Drost, died Thursday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Emil and Gertrude Drost. He was raised and educated in New York and Ohio.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Army.
Mr. Drost had been employed for many years as an aircraft engineer at the General Electric Company in Lynn until the time of his retirement.
Surviving him are two sons, Steven Drost and his wife, Gilma of Los Angeles, CA and Roger J. Drost and his wife, Deborah of Ipswich, five grandchildren, Daniel, P.J. , Katie, Nicole and Steven Drost and three great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Rolf Drost.
A memorial service will be held at the North Shore Community Baptist Church, 9 Hart St., Beverly, Monday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. As requested there will be no visiting hours. Arrangements by the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Henry’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, 370 7th Avenue, 3rd Floor, Room 320, New York City, NY 10001.
