BEVERLY - Laurette T. (Cote) Wright, 83, wife of the late Thomas E. Wright died Monday at Blueberry Hill Healthcare in Beverly. Born in Morrisville, VT daughter of the late Alcide and Clarice (Courture) Cote, she lived in Beverly most of her life. Mrs. Wright was employed at the former Levitz Furniture in Danvers for fifteen years and was retired. Following her retirement she was the first to graduate from the Women in Transition Program at North Shore Community College. She loved to spend time with her family and especially with her grandchildren.
Surviving her are three sons, Richard C. Wright and his wife Deborah of Kennesaw, GA; James E. Wright and his wife Heidi of Groveland; and Edward N. Wright and his wife Stacy of Beverly; two brothers, Armand Cote of FL; and Andrew Cote of Bellingham; one sister, Yvette Martin of FL; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Brian E. Wright and Lisa Abate. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Cote.
A memorial service will be held at the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly location) on Thursday, April 7 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 9:30A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be in North Beverly Cemetery.
