Obituary for Lawrence O. Bulloch

Larry Bulloch, 67 of Wenham passed away July 16th after battling Alzheimer’s. He Was the best Dad to daughters Renee Schildkraut and Laurel Bulloch. He’s survived by his mother, Anne Bulloch of Enfield, NC and numerous other friends and family. He loved chocolate milkshakes…all chocolate in fact. Dyslexia, combined with a degree in Outdoor Education and a Masters in Education made him an outstanding teacher at Landmark School. He was an avid outdoors man, sky diver, camper, fly fisher, canoer and Waterhole# 3 patron. He enjoyed rollerblading, a couple of O’Douls now and then, and watching the storms roll in. He was a hiker, mountain climber and an hysterical yet bad joke teller. He occasionally snorted while laughing. A fan of long car rides at dawn in search of moose. He loved all his girls. His favorite poem was “The Cremation of Sam McGee” especially around the camp fire with a can of SPAM. Favorite color, blue. He was loved so much and will be missed dearly. And as he would so often say, “I’m off like a herd of turtles.” Funeral services will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, Saturday at 1PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hour will be held prior to the service from 12 to 1PM. Burial will be private. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St, Watertown, MA 02472.
