Louise B Tarr, 72, of Beverly Farms, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded her loving family on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
She was the loving wife of James B Tarr with who she shared 52 years of marriage.
Born in Ipswich, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Morgianna (Rauch) Prest.
Louise was a lifelong resident of Beverly Farms and attended the Beverly Public Schools. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Beverly and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and loving friend.
She is survived by her three children; William B. Tarr, Pamela L. Calitri and husband Anthony, and Sherrylynn Tarr all of Beverly. Six grandchildren; Steven Tarr, John Tarr, Jane Wendell and husband Patrick, Michael, Joseph, and Nicholas Calitri all of Beverly. Great granddaughters Jessica and Amelia and one special godson, Paul Cunha of Gloucester.
She was the sister Joanna McDougall Stanton, Janice Chick and husband Lester; one special sister in law, Karen Cunha; her brother in-laws William Fisher, John E Tarr and his wife Margie, Ronald Cunha, William Ahern, and Timothy Ahern. She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
She was predeceased by her sister Isabell Fisher, her brother in-laws Robert McDougall and John Stanton; special nieces Sharon McDougal and Stacey Cunha.
Funeral services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Monday, March 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
