Obituary for Marianne P. Martinack

Manchester by the Sea - Marianne (Poeller) Martinack 76, beloved wife of Robert P. Martinack, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Beverly Hospital.
Born in Oselin, Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Marie (Kral) Poeller. She was raised and educated in Munich, Germany where she continued her education to become a registered nurse.
Mrs. Martinack immigrated to the United States in 1968, settling in Augusta, GA, where she met her husband. They married and moved to Manchester by the Sea in 1978 where they have since resided.
Mrs. Martinack had been employed as a registered nurse at the Ledgewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly until the time of her retirement. Prior to that she had worked at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared forty six years of marriage, she is survived by a daughter, Maureen P. Martinack of Rockwall, TX, a son, Patrick T. Martinack and his wife, Anamarie of Cape Elizabeth, ME, three grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah Schwartz and Livia Martinack, and a brother, Heinz Poeller of Munich, Germany. She was pre-deceased by three sisters.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 62 School Street, Manchester by the Sea, Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
