Obituary for Nancy E. Haskell

Manchester by the Sea - Nancy E. (Williams) Haskell, 74, died Friday, October 28, 2016 following a long illness.
After graduating from Simmons College in Boston, Nancy began a lifelong career in Human Resources at the Bank of Boston making significant contributions as an Executive. There she met her late husband, Conrad Haskell, who served honorably as a corporal in the US Army. Together they travelled the world, making many friends along the way.
Nancy loved living in Manchester-by-the Sea, just around the corner from Tuck’s Point. She spent many hours walking and swimming at Singing Beach and viewing the ocean from other beautiful vantage points. Nancy and Conrad enjoyed fine dining, art and all the culture that the North Shore and Metropolitan Boston had to offer. Family and friends were often treated to gourmet meals at her Harbor Street home.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Mary Mund, of Idaho; sisters-in-law Evelyn Haskell of Vermont and Nancy Miner of Texas; cousins, Nola Barnard, Evelyn Johnson, Ann Maguire, Gloria Olson, Joan Shipman and Carol Williams and as well as many second cousins, nieces and nephews and good friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Conrad Haskell; parents, Arthur T. and Mary (Brady) Williams; and brother, Thomas Williams.
Nancy’s family is extremely grateful to the staff at Putnam Farm who loved and cared for her for the last two and a half years.
