Morrissey Sr., Edward B. Of Cambridge, retired Cambridge Fire Dept. Entered peacefully into eternal rest on August 6th, 2019. Dedicated husband of 65 years, to the late F. Patricia (Daley). Devoted father of Edward Morrissey CFD and his wife Theresa of Medford; Brian Morrissey NFD and his wife Kathy of Nashua, NH; and Robert Morrissey CFD and his wife Cheryl of Billerica. Cherished grandfather of Edward III, John and Joseph of Medford; Kerry, Brian Jr, Andrew, Kevin, and Colleen of Nashua, NH; Christina, Shawn and Patrick of Billerica and two "honorary grandsons", Christopher and James Marceau of Laconia, NH. Brother of the late Lawrence and Robert Morrissey. Brother in law of Ann Morrissey of Nashua, NH and Ann Delaney of Melrose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Late WW II Navy veteran. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Mary's Church, Cambridge at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
