<p>Bolton-Herman C. “Sonny” Schultz, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Reservoir Healthcare Center. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, June (Heinold) Schultz; daughter, Pamela Dobeck &amp; husband Donald of Clinton; son, John Schultz &amp; wife Ellen of Bolton; siblings, Linda Poulin of Westborough, Richard Schultz of Rutland, and Paul Schultz &amp; wife Donna of NY;. He leaves his grandchildren, Heather McNamara &amp; husband Jamie, Donald Dobeck, Jr. &amp; wife Christine, John W. Schultz, Daniel H. Schultz &amp; wife Alison, and Justin Schultz; great-grandchildren, Donald Dobeck III, Haleigh, Kylee, and Drew Dobeck, Jamie and Bailee McNamara, Louis, Lily, and Callie Schultz; sister-in-law Helga Kobus of Clinton; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his siblings Marlene Dorazio, Arlene Anderson, and Ronald Schultz.</p><p>Herman was born in Clinton to the late Herman and Floris (Lamlein) Schultz. He graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1948 and obtained his degree in Animal Husbandry from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst. In addition to a lifetime of raising dairy cattle and growing fruits and vegetables on his family farm in Bolton, Sonny owned and operated CHR Construction for many years and also worked with Rice Orchards, GT Heinold Plumbing &amp; Heating, and Construction Dynamics. He was a devoted family man with great faith and member of the United Church of Clinton. He was a 50 year member of the Clinton Turn Verein and held long standing membership with the NRA. Although passionate for farming and woodworking, Sonny was talented in the kitchen and well known for his award winning apple pie. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, December 11, 2017 in the United Church of Clinton, 109 Haskell Ave., with burial to follow in South Cemetery, Berlin. Calling hours will be held from 3 until 5PM on Sunday, December 10, 2017 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Herman C.
