Clinton-Kendall H. Spoor, 80, of Green St., died Friday, August 17, 2012 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in Providence, RI after being stricken ill. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Lorraine (Barney) Spoor; seven children, William Spoor, Danny Spoor, both of FL; Robert Spoor, Rickey Spoor, Randy Spoor, Kendra Hoey and husband Kenneth, all of Clinton; Cindy Lamb and her husband Peter of RI; brother, Mick Spoor and wife Sue of NY; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He is pre-deceased by three siblings, David Spoor, Ronald Spoor and Velma Honsinger.

Kendall was born in Ellenburg Depot, NY to the late Asel and Neta (Covey) Spoor. He attended local schools and enlisted to proudly serve our nation in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Following eight years of service, Sergeant Spoor returned home to begin his civilian career as a truck driver. On business he traveled throughout the country for many years while making friends each stop along the way. He was an avid fan of horse and dog racing, playing cards and pool. Ken enjoyed country music and most cherished time spent in the company of his loving family. A funeral service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, August 23, 2012 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with burial to follow in Reservoir Pines Cemetery, Clinton.
