Keri Lynn McLaughlin Obituary

Clinton-Keri Lynn McLaughlin, 41, passed away unexpectedly at Nashoba Valley Medical Center on Monday, January 8, 2018 after being stricken ill. Keri was born in South Weymouth daughter of Caren A. (Doherty) McLaughlin and James K. McLaughlin, Jr. She was a happy carefree young girl with an infectious smile who grew up spending her happiest days along the beaches of the South Shore with her parents and sister Kellyanne. She excelled as a three sport athlete in her youth, attended Duxbury High School, graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester, and continued studies at Qunsigamond Community College. Keri was a loving mother to her only son Garrett and loved her family above all. Although Keri faced adversity in her adult life while battling mental health issues, she was a woman of great faith who never gave up.

Keri, her deep and raspy voice, and infectious smile will always be missed and forever remembered by her large “Irish Clan,” the McLaughlin and Doherty family. In addition to her parents, Keri leaves her son, Garrett McLaughlin Forgett of Worcester; her sister, Kellyanne McLaughlin and niece Delaney Cooper of Louisville, KY; paterntal grandfather James. K. McLaughlin, Sr. of FL; her aunts and uncles : Linda & Gary Taylor of Millbury; Gail & Ernie Toti of FL; Judith Fontaine of West Boylston; Freddie & Eileen Doherty of Westfield; David Doherty, Jody & Mary Doherty, and Stephen & Melinda Doherty all of Worcester. Keri also leaves her first cousins with whom she spent her early years growing up with laughing and loving life: Sean, Timmy, Danny Doherty, Erin Taylor Gallant, Haleigh Gallant, Tami Taylor Gilow, Ryan Jennings, Kristy Jennings. Calling hours will be held from 9:30-11AM on Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton.
