Gardner-Leland A. Lowe III, 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Leominster Hospital following an illness. He is survived by his beloved wife Bernice Lemay; and two loving daughters, Amanda Lowe of Townsend, and Jessica Lowe of Leominster; his cherished grandson Jordan Roberts; brother, Mark Lowe & wife Karen of Clinton; special niece Heather Loasby of Leominster; extended family and dear friends. Lee was pre-deceased by two sisters, Gail Cooper and Rosalie Lugo.

Lee was born in Clinton to the late Leland A. Lowe, Jr. & Veronica (Kosinski) Lowe. He graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1973 and began his lifelong career as an oil burner technician. He worked for Boston Gas, Carlisle Fuel, and Philbin Fuel before moving to Plant City, Florida, where he enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, and deep sea fishing. Leland will be remembered as someone who always saw the positive side of things.  He loved to make people smile.  He was patient and kind, he was a hard worker and a natural leader in all that he did.  Lee loved music, and could sing the lyrics to any song from the 1950’s and 1960's. He was a self-made man who could fix anything from cars to clocks. Most of all he loved his family, his daughters, and his grandson Jordan. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 9:30 until 11AM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton.
