West Boylston-Margaret (Goodmanson) Notaro, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She is preceded in death by her husband Salvatore Notaro, who died in 1992; her parents, Gus and Cora Goodmanson, and her brother Robert Goodmanson. She leaves her sister, Ruth Marhefka, with whom she lived; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, all for whom she held a special place in her heart.

Peg was born and raised in Clinton, and was a graduate of the Clinton High School. She spent her professional career of nearly 40 years in various capacities with ITT Surprenant until retiring. Peg married her beloved husband Sal in 1952 and together they shared 40 years of happiness. After Peg retired she and Sal then moved to Maine and enjoyed many years there before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida to be closer with family members. Peg was a member of the Red Hat Society; she bowled in numerous leagues, and loved to play cards. She held a great passion for reading, line dancing, mahjong, and completing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed extensive traveling adventures and lived her life to the fullest. Peg’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses in the PCU at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for providing great comfort, care and compassion during her last days.
