Clinton-Mary J. (Hanson) Salmon, 86, formerly of Clinton, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin J. Salmon. Pre-deceased by her brother Joseph Edward (Eddie) Hanson, sister Natli Hanson, daughters Joanne Gorham and Kathleen Gorham. She is survived by her children Herbert Gorham, Gayle Connolly, Debbie Weeks and Kevin Salmon, her brother Douglas Hanson, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews and 3 nieces.

Mary was born in Gardner to the late Joseph & Noel (Highfill) Hanson.

She graduated from Hudson High School in 1949 and attended hairdressing school in Worcester. After raising her six children, Mary spent 23 years with McDonalds Corporation before retiring in 2006.

Her hobbies and interests included 4-H, gardening, reading and a love of travel. Her two favorite travel destinations being Hawaii and Alaska.

A graveside service is to be held at 12 noon Saturday, September 22, 2018 in South Cemetery South Bolton Rd, Bolton, under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home. A gathering will take place following graveside service at Turner Hall 60 Branch Street in Clinton.
