<p>Clinton-Maureen Ann “Moe” (O’Malley) Wetherell, 64, a lifelong Clintonian, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester following a brief illness. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Richard A. Wetherell, Sr.; their daughter Dawn Wetherell of Clinton; and their son, Richard A. Wetherell, Jr. &amp; his wife Casey Rose of Boylston; 3 adoring grandchildren, Jacob Hessel, Bella and Addison Wetherell; her canine companion Maitland; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her sister and best friend Kathleen McGrail.</p><p>Maureen was born in Clinton to the late Richard J. “Torch” O’Malley &amp; Mildred “Millie” (Maitland) O’Malley. She graduated from the Clinton High School Class of 1970 and achieved her professional degree from the Andover School of Business. In addition to raising her family, Maureen enjoyed her thirty year career with the Clinton Public School System working as the long time purchasing agent and currently serving as a secretary to the Superintendent. In her spare time, Moe enjoyed playing Keno and sharing a nice cold Bud Light with friends at the Clinton Elks Lodge, where she held long standing membership. Maureen took pleasure in entertaining friends at her home, whether playing cards or hosting parties. She was happiest while in the company of her husband, children, and grandchildren, and will be dearly missed as the devoted matriarch to her family. Funeral services are to be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, and burial to follow in Reservoir Pines Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 4 until 7PM.
