Worcester-Terrance Junior “Bubu” Velez, 21, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 11, 2018 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. He is survived by his two children, Carter Rose Rodriguez and Phoenix Noel Rodriguez; his mother, Keyra Velez of Worcester; father, Reynaldo Rivera of Brockton; siblings, Aisha Rivera, Raymond Rivera, and Russel Valentin. He leaves his grandparents, Maria & Jose Velez, and Reinaldo Rivera; aunts & uncles, Gamalier Merced, Jose Velez, Marlin Santiago, Omayra, Diana Rivera, and Harold Rivera, numerous cousins, extended family and many dear friends. He is pre-deceased by his brother Elizier Rivera and grandmother Carmen Torres.

Terrance was born in Worcester on June 19, 1996. He graduated from the North High School, Class of 2014 as a member of the ROTC program, and continued studies at Quinsigamond Community College. Terrance currently worked for Wings Over Worcester and Red Box. He was a talented musician and rapper who was passionate for his work and well respected in the local music circuit. His greatest passion in life however was his children and dedication to his family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
