LOWELL - Agnes V. (Dickey) Balakin, 62, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Monday evening November 16, 2009 in Saints Medical Center, Lowell. She was the wife of the late James Balakin. Born in Lowell on October 19, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Agnes (Milnes) Dickey. She received her education in the Lowell school system. Mrs. Balakin had been employed by the Omni Corporation formerly in Billerica. In her free time she enjoyed music, her pets and cherished time spent in the company of her grandchildren. Surviving her are three sons David B. and Linda Balakin of Dracut, Russell Balakin of Lowell and John and Sheila Balakin also of Lowell; five grandchildren Julianna, Katrina, Brittany, Taylah and Kaitlyn; one sister Louise Quebec of NH; one brother Leroy Dickey Jr and his wife Carol of NH; and several nieces and nephews.
