Passed away at Landmark Medical Center of Woonsocket, RI after a brief illness, on February 19, 2020. She was 87 years old. Ann was born in Millis MA to the late Theodore J. and Mary (Murphy) Bison. She grew up there and graduated from the Millis Public Schools in 1949, then attended Burdett Secretarial School of Boston where she earned her certificate in 1951. Ann then married Sgt. Robert B. Ripley of the Medfield Police Dept. and the lived in Medfield from 1953 until 1981. Ann worked at the former Rexall Drug Store in Medfield until they retired to East Dennis on Cape Cod. Ann was the proud mother of Robert B. Ripley Jr. of Fort Meyers Florida, Cathleen M. Ripley of Franklin, and James F. Ripley and his wife Laurel, also of Franklin. She is also the doting grandmother of Patrick, Mathew, Elizabeth, James and his wife Stephanie, Melissa Lucas and her husband Marco, and Michael, as well as great grandmother to Maddox, Jolene, Emily, Liliana and Antonio. A full Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Ann at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis, MA 02054 on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10:30 AM, followed by burial at Vine Lake Cemetery of Medfield. Visiting hours will be the evening before at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller St., Medfield, MA 02052, Monday, February 24, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
