SPENCER- Elizabeth “Betty” (Mort) Cabana ,72, died at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 17, 2017. She was the devoted wife of Norman J. Cabana. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary on March 8,2017. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Judith (O’Donnell) Mort. Betty retired from the Worcester Telegram. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, John R.Cabana, James N. Cabana and his wife Kathy, Edward “Ted” P. Cabana , all of Spencer; a brother, Leonard Mort and his wife Barbara of Millbury; six grandchildren; one great grandchild. Calling hours will take place on Sunday ,July 23,2017 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main St. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday ,July 24, 2017 in Mary Queen of the Rosary Church, 5 Church , Spencer at 10:00AM.
