GILBERTVILLE- Gerald "G.I. " Bryant, died October 7, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Gerry was born in Barre, son of Irene Pollack Bryant. His sense of humor, love for people and animals were of his most endearing qualities.
Gerry was an avid fisherman, loved camping, bonfires, beers and story-telling; (He was a man of many stories.) He never met a person he didn’t like, and always tried to help others. Gerry worked as a carpenter and wood worker. He was an all-around Handyman.
He leaves his daughter, Abby Bryant, his mother Irene Pollack Bryant, his best friend and companion of many years, Donna Rawson, his Aunt, Patricia Bacon, numerous cousins and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Craig Bryant.
Gerry will be forever missed and never forgotten.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Barre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Abby Bryant College Fund c/o Fidelity Bank, P.O. Box 940, Barre, MA 01005. Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre is handling arrangements.
