BARRE- Ida (Spano) Nichols, 67, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband Robert Nichols and a daughter Heather Nichols both of Barre; a son Eric Nichols and his wife Brittany of Boylston; a daughter Stacey Blake and her husband Shawn of Danielson, CT.; her beloved grandson Daniel; a sister Sandie Currier of Barre; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Sarah (Coppolino) Spano. Ida worked in the Quabbin School District for many years. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 9,2018 from 1-3PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre. The funeral for Ida will be held on Monday with a Mass at 10:00AM in St.Thomas A Becket Church Vernon Ave in South Barre. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
