BRIMFIELD- Myron R. Rogers, 87, passed away on September 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. He leaves his beloved wife of 68 years, Marion E. Rogers; a sister Evelynn Payette of Randolph, VT; a brother Harold & his wife Florence Rogers of Bethel, PA.; daughters Shirley Anne & her husband Barry Nadon of West Brookfield and Donna Dolan and her husband Richard of East Brookfield; sons Myron & his wife Shirley Rogers of Spencer, Ronald and Donald with whom he lived; grandchildren Barry and his wife Susan of West Brookfield, Richard of East Brookfield, Robert & his wife Nicole of North Brookfield and Jessica & her husband Adam of Charlton; great grandchildren Barry and Chloe of West Brookfield, Lyllyan of East Brookfield and Sophia of North Brookfield. He was predeceased by his parents Mildred and George Rogers; siblings Leona Kelly, Theron Rogers, Randall Rogers, Caroline Drake, Paul Rogers, Madeline Quimby, Cleo Rogers, and Arleen Hunt. Myron went to school in Pittsfield, VT before moving to Massachusetts in 1960 and was a hardworking man. He was a herdsman in Brookfield for over 30 years and a farmer before that. He lived for taking care of cattle and horses. Nothing put a smile on his face more than seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved playing board games and playing tricks on them. More than that though, he was a family man, he enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He will be greatly missed by all of his family. Funeral services are private for the family.
