Shannon Blash

Shannon Blash, 36, of Worcester, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, October 13, 2011. She was born in Alexandria, Virginia. She attended Bay Path Regional High School in Charlton MA, had completed Nursing Assistant Training at the Red Cross, Worcester, and was presently working in agriculture. Shannon leaves her son, Anthony Blash of St. Petersburg Florida; her mother, Patricia Bower and her stepfather David; her half sister and brother: Kelly & Stephen, and her grandmother, Florence Tichnell. She had a passion for writing, drawing, painting, decorating, and Rhode Island Beaches. She loved all animals especially her cats and seemed to always be assisting, caring for or finding homes for strays. She kept the same kind thoughtful caring and compassionate way with people. She was very close to her family, treasured her friends and will be missed dearly. Relatives and close friends are invited to attend calling hours from 12p.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20th, in the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert Street, North Brookfield, MA. The funeral service for Shannon will be held immediately after at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shannon's memory may be made to Worcester County Humane Society, 12330 Eagles Nest Rd., Ocean City, MD, 21842.
