<p>Dorothy L. (Fiore) Flammia, 91 years of age, of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. </p><p><br></p><p>Cherished daughter of the late Antonio and Lena (DeLuca) Fiore. Loving mother of Gerri Flammia, Donna D’Abbieri and her husband Philip, and the Late Joseph Flammia. Adored grandmother of Jillian Recchia and Michael and Felicia D’Abbieri. Caring sister of Teresa Neikirk, Lillian Giles, Anthony “Sonny” Fiore, Patty Doria and the late Mary Campanaro, Lee Mulloy, and Jeannie Ferro. Dorothy is also survived by her chosen children Angela Ray and Daniel Frigon as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. </p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends will honor Dorothy’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Sunday, September 17th from 2PM to 6PM and again at 8:30AM on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church in East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. </p>Obituary
