Eva Phyllis Knobloch Obituary

Eva Phyllis (Tieri) Knobloch, 89 years of age, of Malden, formerly of Everett, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Cherished daughter of the late Bernard and Angelina (Santangelo) Tieri. Beloved wife of the late Richard Knobloch. Loving mother of Linda Duggan and her husband James, Angela Diorio and her husband Joseph and Susan Amato and her husband Vincent. Adored grandmother of Stacy Duggan and her loving companion Desmond McCann, James Duggan and his wife Janette, Nicole Krygeris and her husband Jon, Adam Diorio and his wife Kristal, Anthony Amato and his loving companion Stacey Wilson and Gia Amato. Great-grandmother of Brady Magrath, Daniel and Rylee Duggan, Ava and Max Krygeris and Tucker and Taya Diorio. Caring sister of Richard Tieri and his late wife Jaqueline, Helen Hills and her late husband Lawrence, George Tieri and his late wife Josephine and the late Robert Tieri and his late wife Jean. Predeceased by Robert James Brady the father of her three children. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eva began her incredible talented career at Roman Arts over 70 years ago and up until last month, still operated Monogram’s by Eva and loved every single minute of it. Even though it brought her joy to be in her sewing room, everyone knew her pride and joy were her daughters, her 3 Angels. She loved to be with her Angels, shopping with her sister and jitterbug with her brother. She was actively involved for many years in the Junior Aid Society and fundraised for Project Triangle. She was also a board member for the Malden YWCA. Eva loved and cherished her family, especially with her 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She had many long-term friends whom she also cherished. Although she always doubted her ability to communicate, we all knew she was smarter than most of us. She knew exactly what she was doing.

Family and friends will honor Eva’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Wednesday, July 25th from 10AM to 12PM followed by a Funeral Service in our Chapel of the Resurrection at 12PM. Inurnment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eva's memory to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation at www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org
