Montuori, Michael S. 84, of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. Loving and devoted husband of Grace (Lambiase) Montuori with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.

Loving father of Michael A. Montuori of Wilmington and Rosemarie Montuori of Saugus. Adored grandfather of U.S. Army Private First Class Aaron Paul Kurk of Saugus. Cherished son of the late Aniello and Rose Montuori. Beloved son-in-law of the late Salvatore and Nunziata Lambiase. Dear brother of Diane Montuori of Lowell, and the late Lawrence Montuori and his late wife Sandy. Brother-in-law of the late John Lambiase and his surviving wife Josephine of Wareham, and the late Anthony Lambiase and his late wife Eleanor. Cousin of Antonio and Mary Cosentino of Burlington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Michael’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, REVERE on Tuesday April 4 from 4:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. and again Wednesday morning at 9:00A.M. before leaving in procession to St Anthony’s Church in Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10:00A.M. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Michael was a laborer and a member of the Local #22 Laborers Union for 20 years and after 28 years of service, Michael retired from the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plain where he worked as a Bio-Med Technician. Michael was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael’s name to St Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude PL. Memphis, TN.
