Maureen B. “Moe” Coulter, 57, died peacefully at home after an extended illness on Sunday September 8, 2019. She was born in Hartford, CT on January 5, 1962; daughter of Richard and Sheilagh (Donoghue) Coulter. She grew up in Shrewsbury and graduated from Notre Dame Academy. She also lived on Cape Cod for over 25 years, where her passions were fishing and spending time at the beach. She leaves behind her brother, Patrick Coulter of Shrewsbury, and sister Christine Briggs and her husband Timothy of Shrewsbury. She will be greatly missed by her niece, Katie Coulter of Rutland; her nephews, Michael and Timothy Briggs of Laconia, NH; and her grandnephew, Donovan Stidsen of Rutland. Moe shared her father’s artistic talent and found great refuge in her art. She enjoyed making treasured gifts for friends and family. She was blessed with many special friends, and the family is especially grateful for Rachael Jameson, who spent time with her and helped care for her during her illness. She was also blessed with a dedicated team from Notre Dame Hospice, whom she treasured. Calling hours will be on Saturday September 21, 2019 between 12:00 and 1:00 PM at the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545, followed by a Prayer service at the funeral home.
